Temasek Review had also been hinting that the TNP article was a sign of a broader crackdown to come. In an article posted on the website just yesterday, a contributor to the Temasek Review called “Atobe” wrote that:
“The TNP article about TR yesterday is an ominous sign that reveal the intent is to generate controversy and to ultimately target Temasek Review for being a subversive site – which will lead to the beginning of official efforts towards the demise of TR.”

if the fricken "opposition" boards can snap at each other, instead of supporting each other, i think it's symptomatic of the way the idiots in the opposition behave instead of putting up a united front against the idiots in the MIW

u mean oppositions shut down themselves due to differences? omg! Soon Zi bing fa said, one must be united inorder to face the enemy, unity is the key. Oppositions are already very weak in Singapore, if they do not get united, game over.
Maybe they applied the Soon Kuay bing fa, making a rouse out of it so as to make PAP unaware of them, thinking that opposition are in a mess, then out of the sudden...booomz

We all know there is one stupid farking newpaper journalist who scans thru sgforums to get topics for newpaper columns, and see yesterday's report on the alleged TR owner, it just cannot be a coincidence anymore. Make it more sensational by putting it on the front page somemore. Seriously, TR must be so fantastic to have garnered that kind of attention loh, that some stupid farking want to have a part of it, by putting it on the papers.
Honestly, it cannot be some busybody like you and me, want to call newpaper and report such stuff right? We all got better things to do.
Remember that thread where some guy said he was gonna kill his parents? That made it to the newpaper. One time, close one eye, 2nd time, just too much loh.
Newpaper to me, other than football news, is just trying to meet its daily pages quota.

Sigh......Couldn't agree with you more. If you look at the newspaper articles in ST, it's like a summary of quotations and citations, our journalist just do not have their own view..
Our young talented journalists, wasted like that....

I hope out of the entertainment, you can get some impetus to right the wrongs or question the unacounted that TR has pointed out.
That's TR's ulitmate goal, to get Singaporeans thinking alternatively, not blindly believing what they see and hear. They even welcome contructive criticism to TR, as long as they make Singaporeans think and show some political awareness, instead of bochup which our Govt wants us to be.....

it's e views..saying foreigners buying land... they can't even purchase landed property.
it's not i support PAP Times or watever, there's a limit onto posting things tat aren't true to begin with.
Furthermore in such cases Singaporeans only have themselves to blame, for fuelling e demand seeing e spree. Reality is foreigners are forced to buy condo!

TR needs to figure out that they should not rant about rubbish..
not everything the MIW does is wrong... they write as if MIW does everything wrong... that causes a lot of credibility problem...
anyway, who shut down TR?
the guy himself or someone else?
if he shut it down himself because he doesn't want to stand up for his own rantings, it says a lot about his integrity
