My Expedition To The Mysterious Stonehenge & Crop Circles

The purpose of my last trip to London was out of the norm; my mission was to explore the Stonehenge & to find the Crop Circles I’ve heard so much about. It was a breathtaking journey through 5000 years of time, exploring the mysteries & rich heritage of ancient Britain.
The first site of my tour was to visit the gorgeous medieval city of Salisbury & discover the magnificent Cathedral crowned with the tallest spire in Britain, built by medieval craftsmen back in the 13th Century.
The Medieval Clock was made around 1386 & is probably the oldest working clock in existence. Like all clocks of that date, it has no face but struck the hour on a bell.
Over 5000 years ago, Old Sarum Castle had been occupied & defended in turn by the Romans, Saxons & Normans.
After continued conflict between the castle garrison & the clergy, lack of water supply & general overcrowding, the city we know today as ‘Salisbury’ was formed as an alternative city to Old Sarum. 
I travelled up the Avon Valley taking the back roads to Stonehenge, through the Woodfords, passing thatched cottages with well kept gardens. I’ve heard about the many myths, legends & mysteries of this famous World Heritage Site of Stonehenge & I was really excited & looking forward to seeing it for myself.
