Big dogs lunge at STOMPer and his Mini Schnauzer, yet no apology from owner
Enraged72%Shiok!6%LOL!3%So sad9%Sure or not?0%Bochup10%STOMPer Jack would like to alert those staying at Marsiling Rise to be careful of their neighbour's two big dogs. The STOMPer and his Miniature Schnauzer were attacked by the two big dogs which were over 20 metres away.
Jack shared his encounter:
"On Dec 17 at about 11am I was walking my dog (a Miniature Schnauzer) at the void deck of Block 123 Marsiling Rise.
"My dog and I were attacked by 2 big dogs that a maid was taking care of. She was seated about 20 metres away but the dogs suddenly ran over to us.
"The dogs were not leashed and muzzled and they are definitely not HDB approved dog breeds. One was a husky, and the other, a mongrel, both were of adult size.
"My dog is very friendly and approachable, and would often greet other big dogs when we went out for walks, at say, Bishan park. So I thought the two big dogs were coming over to greet my dog.
"However, they started to attack my dog, and as my dog was howling in pain, I tried to carry my dog but was also attacked.
"The attack only lasted a few seconds but my dog's leg was broken and I also sustained injuries on my leg and my finger.
"I sent my dog to the vet and also sought medical attention for myself.
"I managed to find out the whereabouts of the owner as my wife had walked past the unit the day before.
"The maid answered the door and she recognised me. However, the owner seemed to be very unresponsive to my complaints. She was not even apologetic and did not even offer to pay for my medical fees.
"She was defensive and even chided her maid. She passed me her husband's name card and said he would call me later that night, but up to now, they haven't called.
"My main concern is, what if the dogs attacked the young children in the neighbourhood?
"I am also lodging this report to the SPCA and AVA." -
I often see such reports of big dogs attacking small dogs. Poor schnauzer. Seriously, next time when you walk your dog, bring a weapon along. Then if any dogs attack your pet, just kill them. No matter how big those dogs are, remember....you don't kill them, they kill your dog. I would have kicked the shit out of those dogs to protect mine.

Remind me of a time when I went to Philippines, stayed at a friend's house in a small village. Whenever walking out, have to bring a pole because some villagers have gigantic dogs that will growl at you for no reason.
Some even lunge at you, as if ready to attack..

problem doesn't quite lies with the dog... it lies with the irresponsible owner of the 2 big dogs...
