This one is just LTA creative dept telling LTA CEO and the public that they are working, that is the main purpose. Other than that, it is a white elephant. There are many things public servants did that benefit the society nothing, as long as they can please their ah Kongs that they are working, rest is not their problem. It is a waste of local resources and govt still said they need Foreign talents. When you buy in foreign talents you create divide in the society When you nurture the locals, you create Unity

Can, but only 1 vote, kamlan. There was once Najib, LHL, Aquino taking a trip in a small plane somewhere in Cebu, Najib bought along his grandson who was carrying a school bag. The pilot said, plane can take only 3 paxs, LHL said, can lah, one small paxs why cannot, so the pilot said ok, up to you all. Once lifted off, not long the plane got problem, the pilot said, there are only 4 parachutes in this plane, sorry gentlemen, I take one first, so he took one and jumped out LHL said, oh, I take the 2nd parachute and said goodbye guys, and he jumped Next Aquino also take the 3rd parachute and jumped Now left with one parachute for Najib and his grandson How? Najib told his grandson, you are young, I am already old, you take the last parachute, remember when you are back home, go draw out all my money, let me died with the plane, so he gives his grandson his 1 MB account numbers. His grandson told Najib, Kong kong, no worries, Just now I saw Uncle Lee took my school bag and jumped, we still got 2 parachutes...

Looks like this is cab sharing scheme... A few companies or parties tried this before but so far like noone successful before in Singapore??

Only our lau charbor mod like to share ride with others, how to success, it is a suck business model, basically, if people want to take a cab or private ride, they will like to have privacy and that is why it is call private ride. If she likes to share share so much, go take bus and mrt lah, so many to share with.

I'm helping my elder father look for a taxi hirer. His old hirer of 8+ yrs is down with a major illness and had to return the taxi so he is looking for a new hirer.Any forum here to post a request and matching? He stays in Macpherson area. My dad is a night relief driver mon-sun.
And in case people think why an old man still working so hard... cos all his life he has been driving and he loves driving.
If he doesn't drive, he's got nothing to do! He headache, I headache, my family also headache!
Any hirers can a PM me bah then I relay the message to him

Yeah he's old and easy going... well with some quirks lah. Old people habits but generally I think once you get used to them he is an ok person to work with.
He just drive to pass time and earn some pocket money for Singapore Pools and kopi nia.

Your dad drives for which company? If it is Comfort/Citycab, he can call them to help do the match up. Or log in to driver portal to look for hirer or register his interest to be relief. Better chance this way.

Yes, the portal is good, cdg is quite well establish but many taxis drivers prefer Grab, and some are even advertising for them here, ...eh
