Employment status after 379 section

  HI,

    my friend  have been charged up with section 379 for shop lifting worth $150
  and he was sentenced with the fine of $3000. he has paid the fine.this is the first time he has been convicted .just want to know if the sentence will affect his employment pass renewal on august 2015?
