Western Media Brainwash Singaporeans Bad

US and UK have the control over western media because of the popularity of English language. So western media have press freedom ? Not when it come to issue affecting their national interests for example the Snowden's case or the Wikileaks case.
Snowden is still under Russian protection mind you. Wikileaks Julian Assange is still hiding in the Emadassy of Ecuador in UK. These are proof that western media has limited freedom.
As such we can easily prove that all the western media be it BBC or New York Times or CNN etc are being controlled by their govt so that they won't print things the US govt doesn't want to see.
These media are own by big tycoons or govt itself. So control is really not as hard as you think. Errant reporters can be easily fired or demoted.
As far as the US govt is concerned influening the minds of their own countrymen is of ultmost importance. So we do see more freedom in UK rather than US. Case in point is the report on Israel Lobby by two US university professors could not be published in US because no publisher willing to do it so it ended up publish in UK.
But all in all the western media especially English medium in the western world are being used to promote their political agenda exactly like what happen in China.
Why China received more criticism ? Because we read English and our newspapers re-print articles from Reuters, nytrimes, Bloomberg etc.
In order not to allow western govt together with their media to subvert Chinese national interests they are being forced to build the great firewall to protect themselves.
So why then the UK and US do not need firewall ? Simply because through many years of brainwashing people in general around the world nowadays blindly believe in almost everything they said through their media.
Another case in point. Why do you think the European didn't support the US when they attacked Iraq ? Because Saddam Hussein wanted to convert all his oil money reserve from US dollars deposit to Euro.
Have you seen western media reported about it or explained or analyzed it for everyone around the world to understand just like the way analyze their enemy China ? None whatsoever.

The western media owners influence the government, the government uses the media, they are in bed for their own interest.

it's not so much the american people, but the american government, politicians, the few at the top of the corporations. They made sure Asian went down in 1997, didn't allow the government to help the local industries. In 2007, their government used tax payers' money to bail out their companies.

Are we so gullible that we are so easily influenced by western media ? Don't we have a brain to think and two eye to see for ourselves ?
