Masters Degree @ SG

dear all,
my name is dominic and i am from Hong Kong currently studying in Toronto, Canada. first of all i really appreciate this forum. and after i graduate from Canada i would want to have further achievements...thus i need your advice in postgraduate masters degree in urban development or urban management or urban planning from ANY Universities in Singapore.
the 1st time i've been to SG was probably 10 years ago and i have visited SG about 2 months ago i am really planning to stay in SG for quite some time. (i absolutely love it in singapore!!) Nonetheless, i am looking forward to meet some new local friends! guys or gals or whatever you are please drop a line in this thread!

haha i thought you guys were supposed to "welcome" me! LOL
anyhow doesn't matter because i already made up my mind. i totally love singapore because i like the weather..i like how small the place is..besides the pricy alcohol and tobacco i love pretty much everything!
now i am just in search for a masters in singapore then i'll be set..because i wanted to live in singapore for a while..but i can't just stay and spend money i gotta have something to do! planning to 1/2 work and 1/2 study my masters in singapore and probably going to get a bike just to travel around!
i don't like canada at all because i don't like to be considered as a minority haha..and besides..i personally feel that asians belong in asia!
i love it in HK..HK is my home, i will also travel back and forth and i also want to establish future business connections singapore <-> HKG

sorry, dun mind me, but im mystified. If you've been in Canada, why the heck would u wanna do a postgrad in sg? or stay in sg for that matter? there is a reason why people are jumping the boat faster than bunnies are multiplying and why many people who are staying in singapore are wishing otherwise.Originally posted by freshyip:dear all,

i will leave canada for sure in 2 years becusae i really don't like it here. HK is my home, i must return to HK and i love it in HK too much. on the other hand i would like to study my masters...so my 2 choices are either in HK or in SG. since both cities are very alike in a lack of resource but a flourishing economy and especially when land is scarce, urban management knowledge is necessary. and i like it in singapore too much, i just very very comfortable there...i have't been to a place long enough that gives me this feeling and i know that i'm staying for sure..don't know how long though but i also want to establish business connections in my family's business from SG <-> HK....so will definitely stay for a couple years..but i also will fly back and forth..the ticket from HK to SG is rather cheap especially during low seasons!
