"Excuse me..." a father with a sobbing child in his arms asked me, "...Is this the injection and dressing room?"
"Yes, just go in and walk down," I replied.
The father quickly hurried into the room and I continued waiting for someone to attend to me. During my wait, I saw the same father walk around the hospital, into the toilet, the waiting room and into the lab. I noticed that the mother wasn't around.
After a long time, the father walked out of the lab with the child sleeping with her head on his shoulder. He walked carefully so that his daughter wouldn't be disturbed. He greeted everyone in sight but with a voice that wouldn't wake his daughter. He walked down the corridors of that hospital and I tell you, that was the most beautiful picture of life that I'd ever seen.
You may wonder why such a simple thing as this would catch my heart but in the country where I stay, it is rare that you see a father running around for a child. It is usually considered the woman's job.
If I consider this a beautiful picture, then imagine a God that is with you in every room, holding your hand all the time, with you through every pain and forbidding anything to disturb your rest in Him.
When I think about that, I can only say in awe
.............TREMENDOUSLY BEAUTIFUL!!!
