  I agree with you that great bands from other countries should come to Singapore, but I what I feel even more worthy are some of the local bands here who are as good as any great foreign act! :-) Have a listen to them and give them a shot. Like paramore said to the Singaporean crowd when they came in recently is to support local music because they wouldn't be famous if it weren't for their local hometown support! So think about it =) Let me give you a few acts here Caracal Pleasantry Plainsunset The Sam Willows Amterible West Grand boulevard The Observatory The shelves The Sets Band Cashew Chemists (got their name from cashew road wooho) Big timers right now MONSTER CAT Youth wreck 53 A Etc etc so many of them There is also a hip hop collective group know as The XS Collective, great budding hip hop talent scene here So yep give these guys a listen when you're free and I am sure you will find your favorite band! All these bands are hyper active and gigging If you wan nice cozy Singaporean music Check out the pigeonhole, crazy world cafe and the prince of Wales pub Have fun!
