Once again, the one and only Goth night in Singapore is ghosting around the corner come 5th December. DARK FRIDAY is the name of the dread game, and it will grip your senses in a chokehold with their morbid offerings so delightfully twisted you’d never escape its clutches. Featuring electro-industrial twosome Amelia ‘DestroyX’ Tan and Karl ‘ZooG’ Learmont of the internationally-acclaimed Angelspit (Australia/Germany), their uncanny and sinister DJ talents comprising a devilicious mix of 1 part cyberpunk + 1 part electro + 3 parts DISTORTION will own the dance floor so hard it screams for mercy.
As a cherry on top, this installation of Dark Friday will also be the official Asian Record Release Party of Angelspit’s third album, ‘Blood Death Ivory’. Fans, you know what to do
Supported by local alternative DJs Mentor and Murderfreak, more dark and alternative anthems of the Gothic/Industrial/EBM/Darkwave/Futurepop variety will be deftly mixed for your sole pleasure. So don those stompy boots and tog up in your gothic best (likely to be cyber-goth themed, if you consider the styles of both DJs DestroyX and ZooG) for a night of body moving MAYHEM.
As always, the venue’s at #02-11 Orchard Towers (rear block), 1 Claymore Drive,Singapore. The club name, however, has changed to Moonshine but the place remains the same. Don’t forget to come early (8pm is good) bring along $10 for cover and sip an absinthe shot or two (at $15 a pop).
