Sing Fest Review Anyone?

Anyone watched Sing Fest??
Were the bands and singers good? Come come share your experience with me please, I an so deprived over here. T_T

yeah i watched i think if you are a non-fan of a particular singer, you would not entirely enjoy him/her. as seen from the reactions yesterday, the crowd only liked those songs released to the radios. i am a huge alicia keys fan so i didnt mind waiting till 11 pm an enjoyed the 1.5 hours set although i bet to most people she was sleep-inducing (she played many non-singles off her albums) and as expected when she performed No One at 1230 MN, only the crowd went CRAZY (when for the past 1 hour plus they were dead). overall, i enjoyed alicia, jason mraz and PCD (they danced their hot asses off!

I tink u need to know the songs before you can fully enjoy the song.
But why Ms keys sang non-singles off her albums? She didn't sing Fallin' or If I aint got you?
T_T why I am not in Singapore during this period??!?

she did but honestly, i would only say she has 3 "known" singles to the singapore crowd. fallin, if i aint got you and no one but i thoroughly enjoyed her set; a probably 7 min long how come you dont call me, like you'll never see me again, karma etc gosh haha but it was pretty obvious the crowd was not really into it. and sad to say she din perform if i aint got you! altho that no one at the end was pure crack. loves it! and jason mraz was really really hot too!!

I'm not a fan of No One, though i cant say i totally dislike that song. But me is a fan of Ms Keys. She's pure talent.
I would have attended Singfest solely for Mraz, Keys and One Republic but I ain't in Singapore so.... T_T
Guess I'll have to wait for next year. NickleBack and Coldplay please!!

Yup agree with you. Even though I am not really a fan of Alicia Keys' genre of music, I will still go watch her concert as she is class. That is provided I got $ to watch lah haha.

as i am huge fan, i LOVE all the songs especially those songs off the new album (wreckless love, i need you etc). and yeah, i was really hoping there was an encore after no one and she would play if i aint got you but she didnt! wat a pity. and no, i din have 2 days pass hahaa. im not a rock fan:P but yeah, onerepublic+mraz+alicia= PURE CRACK! -

it was already 1230 mn so after No One, nobody bothered to shout encore coz there are thousands others competing for taxis with emhaha. and i think she would have done an encore! when she did a concert in indonesia a week ago, she sang if i aint got you during the 2nd encore when ppl were already leaving! shame!! haha

I went another gig the other time and MLTR was on encore and ppl started streaming away. Really shame leh, I tink kinda paiseh.

i heard jason mraz's act was the best for the day. he was the only one who really engaged with the audience. and his opening act was interesting too.
and boy can he sing live realllyyy well. :DD
