Music cds from china

  I happen to know that music cds/albums have 2 versions... One made in china whereas the other i guess its Taiwan... So i just want to ask whether the china version includes the poster since the china version is more affordable... thanks

  cd quality oso might differs, so beware.
  
  last time i bought this disney cd, china made one, sibei cannot make it.

  Hmmm my friend bought this taiwanese singer's album (china version) but the quality is not bad

  I wanna buy the china version since they are relatively cheaper... One for only 5.90 only...(the cd shop at pearl centre... near this hongkong fried dim sum shop)

  not all mah, might. dat was the only time i bought china version so i can't say much either.

  i want to ask a question about the "sound quality" thing..
  
  a CD is digital.. it's all ones and zeros... so, how the heck is a copy of the ones and zeros from other sources going to deteriorate the "sound quality"?
  
  btw, i'd not trust the PRC ones.. just like their DVDs.. how come their DVDs in the shops are all DVD9s?

  Chances are when u bought your disc from china. Please listen to some of the songs in the disc first before buying it... I happening to bought one music cds from there and turn out all the song are being sang by some unknown people..

  well, a bunch of people (especially storeowners) keep trying to tell me about how one version of CD is better than another... i asked them.. it's all digital right? it's all ones and zeros on the disc to be decoded by the player... which means the if 1 is copied to 2 and 2 to 3.. and so on.. the 1,000,000th copy will still have the same quality as the first..

  as for China-made CDs and DVDs, you think for ONE moment the copyright owners are going to trust the fellas there? Piracy Capital of the world, with their intellectual property?

  then.. you don't get the correct sound or words or whatever anymore... and you will know
  
  and more, it won't be a "deterioration" so much as a total failure of the piece you're listening to

  can la.. will try to auto-correct a little. cd not like mp3, more prone to error. u noe like those old old records.. spoil le the tune goes bad but still continue playing. the cd-r used if lousy oso gt affect.
  
  impt is QC, cut cost here, cut cost there.. cd use cheapest.. recording use lousy equipment.. come out cd of cuz prone to fault lor.

  already fell apart le. data cannot be rewritten. only how the cd-player reads it, and try to correct the errors, or ignore it sometimes.
  
  dats y sometimes the sound come out skips, have interference, or sounds hollow.

  please note that china imports are not in favored with any free gifts stated in the commercials, websites or wadever. and the sales record wouldnt be sent to RIAS singapore. no point supporting when u cannot even see the results.

  IMO, I think those u bought are compilation cds which are sung by unknown ppl produced by unknown companies. I believe the question is about cds by original singer, under the same production company, but different marketing company ie those from China. These cds are meant for the China market, and hence it's cheaper, although it's still original, ie not pirated. I've bought some before and they're ok to me. I believe their recording/songs should be the same - cos it's digital and the singer only records once. However, the durability of the cd might differ, that I'm not sure. But from my experience, they've no problem.
  
  Of cos, due to different marketing companies - S'pore vs China, the freebies may be different. But for a practical person like me whereby the songs are more impt than those useless freebies, I don't see why I should spend 2-3 times more. Moreover, they are not pirated copies.

  Dirt cheap.....One original cd from taiwan i can buy two or more china made cds......but China quality is extremely bad....Even the casing spoils easily.....
