tired:
u mean u want to take the beginner's course wif those 5-yr-old kids?...
my previous gym coach got set up a gym training sch for amateurs loh...u want i can help u contact him...
(but juz to warn u 1st...the charges are sky-high loh...)
most of the gym coaches in spore are either those last time gymnasts in sch or frm China...
my 1st coach was a singaporean...he used to represent chinese high in the SEA games during his times...and all his team-mates from sch last time are now gym coaches...
my 2nd coach is a lady from china...tends to be more strict loh...but she is more pro than sporean coaches in general...
the main factor of gym's unpopularity is lack of premises...gym equipment and apparatus cost A LOT...and not many schs can afford...so far oni chinese high and sch of physical education have proper (though not of international standard) gymnasiums...
and oso...gym training take up a lotta time...
i used to train 3 to 4 times a week...up to 4 hours per session...(not including conditioning and physical training)...nearing competition eben worse ah...whole day in gymnasium (something like 9am to 6pm) doin the same thing over n over again...
though those days were tough...but i enjoyed it...
