problems with half-life

  pls help !!!!!!!
  
  I reinstall my half-life liaoz ...
  then reinstall and try to run but got this problem saying ..
  
  "Your Half-life execute file has been modified. Please check your system for virus or reinstall your half-life."
  
  Wat the HELL ?!!?! .. I check my system got virus or not but everything is OK !!! I reinstall MANY times for the past 2 days but the same problem occurs ...
  Then i juz try to run half-life itself only the same thing again !!!
  Knn chee bye ... si bei tu lan ar ..
  
  serious help ... any super solutions pls help me PLS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  must be you accidently deleted something in your half-life lohz.... or maybe you really got virus

  uninstall half-life lohz... then delete the sierra folder then reboot comp then install again

  Koyo ... I tried that too ..
  i go to the add/remove program and uninstall the half-life ... then i go to delete the files and folders at C drive ...
  and it still give the same problem..
  
  so now how !!???!?!?

  back up all your HL files then delete all and clean up left overs ( cstrike TFC whatever shit ) then reinstall

  I mean that even i had the lastest version it still doesn't work ( the 83 mb also cannot lah )
  
  somemore i had the backups in my the other harddisk .. and i try to install half-life into either 2 harddisk i have ... still same msg come out leh ...

  delete the 83Mb file
  then download from somewhere else again loh.
  
  maybe it's the compressed file problem
