Well, I suppose work is depend on whether you like it or not right? If you choose a job which you are interested in, it will be a time well spend.
Considering all the things we studied in secondary schools, how much do we make use of it in real life. I don't seems to use much of my Amath and even Emath in real life.
Ok, I like to bitch! lol.
Since we're onto this topic, I'll go further on. I am sure everyone has a interest in something. Like me, I have interest in IT and economic-> going on to marketing, accounting and so on. It interest me a lot and hence I do think if I get such a job next time with great prospect, it wouldn't be as boring as studying. I understand the pain of 9-5 for 5 days every week and perhaps the ocasional dreaded word, OT(Overtime). However, if it been a job we all like, it'll be more of a challenge? What's so challenging about Chemisty, Physics, History and so on.
It is not something which really proves your capablity in real life isn't it?
Perhaps the only 2 subjects which learn in Primary and Secondary Schools are probably English and our mother tongue languge which gains us an advantage over many, especially if we work overseas where most are trained in 1 language. It is indeed a blessing for those who had a chance to study a 3rd language in school as it PROVES to be a GREAT advantage next time when you work especially in the field of human management or sales.
*sigh*
Talk so much also no use, I can't change the educational system in Singapore anyway =(.
Guys, views?
