CounterStrike Competition 2000
Firebase Alpha will be organizing a Counterstrike 5 vs 5 competition in July. It will be held on the 29th July 2000 and all Counterstrike clans are invited. It is the opportunity to prove your skills and abilities against the opponents and be known to be one of the best in Singapore. The total prizes and cashes amounting to $1000.
Prize Distribution
1st: $500 + Free Lifetime Membership to Firebase Alpha
2nd: $300 + Free Lifetime Membership to Firebase Alpha
3rd: $100 + Free Lifetime Membership to Firebae Alpha
4th: Free Lifetime Membership to Firebase Alpha
TEAM/ELIGIBLITY
Each team will consist of 5 players and 1 reserve player.
Only registered players and reserves are allowed to participate in the tournament. Should any team have unregistered players, the team will be disqualified immediately. Bring along your prove of identity. Please be punctual.
Each team must have their own team names and a leader to represent them.
REGISTRATION
The registration fees are as follows:
S$40 Per Team (5 members with 1 reserve) inclusive of gaming time. Non-refundable if you did not turn up for the competition or whatsoever. Registration starts with immediate effect. Limited up to 4 teams per clan. Registration forms and payment of fees are to be made at Firebase Alpha upon registration:

Counterstrike Game version
Counterstrike game version to be used for this event will be Version 6.6.

System of the Competition
1. Qualifying rounds will take off on Saturday (29 July 2000) from 10am onwards and are base on a group league system then follow by knocking out system.
2. Quat-finals, Semi-Finals and Finals will be held on Sunday (30 July 2000) from 10am onwards.
3. Each team will consist of 5 players and 1 reserve
4. The match will consist on two 20-min halves. One team will play as CT or T in one half and will swap to the other in the next half. 1 map will be played in each match. The team winning both halves will win the match. If the teams win one each, the one with the most wins for both halves will be the winner. 1 win entitles you to 2 points; a draw will entitle you to 1 point and lost to 0 point.
5. Cheats are strictly prohibited
6. No talking is allowed during the match
7. Chase cam will be on
8. Permission granted for brining your own mouse and keyboard
9. Any team caught breaking any of the official rules will be disqualified.
10. The management reserves the right to change the rules at any point when is needed

Wa piang... the headphone there really sux.. and also they make use of headphone for communications.
Terror have their own channel and Ct have their own too...
How ever ppl can change channel anytime they like thru the game... so if ppl can eavedrop 1 leh... sux...
Their PC is ok.. but.. * really hate the headphones*
