Sure there is a rivalry. But to actually say dislike is a strong word. Its a competition. Glad to say I'm past that stage already. Still there are some RJ students out there are believe that they are high and mighty. I just ignore them. It sorts of makes them feel small and puny. Haahaha! I know.. its terrible of me to do that.

why dun u like rjc pp?? most of them r pretty nice pp.. true, their manner, behaviour and thinking r very different from us, i suppose, but dislikes dun stem from differences. anyway, Carrots, why do u dislike rjc pp??

I'm not from HCJC, but i dun really like RJC. I'm taking my Os this yr, so thinking of going where after that... RJC is definitely out!!! I kinda like HC that's I'm here to have a look...
I dislike RJ cos they are too "english" for me... and they think too highly of themselves. You need 6-points to get into HC arts stream... for RJ, my fren got 12 and she got in... see the great difference???

Whenever u meet people from RJC, u'll realise that not all of them are like that.
The black sheeps can really cause bad rumors to go around.
Keep an open view.
Hwachong has a distinctive Chinese environment. Most of the time we speak a mixture of Chinese and English. Maybe its cos we have so few Indians there as compared to RJ. -
to a large extent you are right about the raffles high and mighty spirit. the best time to witness this phenomena is to come during the appeal season. then you see the office staff smirk at ppl from neighbourhood schools trying to appeal inside.
btw rite, why does hcjc seem to repel indians?
