Do you feel that kids should be deprived from toys so that they can have a more fertile mind to create what they can play with?

Lex, Not sure what u mean by a "more fertile mind". But IMHO dun think that kids should be deprived of toys. In our stressful society if everything is abt work and studies, think it is not beneficial for the kid's upbringing. However perhaps there should be more emphasis on toys that do not stress excessive violence or toys that stimulate the mind forming a bigger part of the entire toys array.

Just wondering, as a child, would u like to deprived of toys to play with lex?? I would not like to be deprived of toys for sure. I guuess kids won't understand much abt the kind of intellectual growth they will acquire if they play with only wat they have or if they play wiht toys..kids.. they just wanna play with toys

It depends on what kinda toys you are toking abt. Take for example: lego.
Lego promotes creativity in a child. You can use Lego to create any animal or building etc. -

Well, I am trying to say that when we were young, we are too poor to have toys so we kinda make our own toys and play toyless games...
Will that be better in a way? Or really toys nowadays are for children to learn something?
