Outrage of modesty cases in Woodlands Up.

A look through the SPF page shows that there has been an explainanble increase in nthe number of outrage of modesty cases in Woodlands. There a three police boards asking for information just around the streach of road leading to the BKE. One at Causeway point itself, one near the Church around woodgrove and one at KFC Fuchun. I am perplexed as to what the reason could be. IS it reasonable to ask police to step up petrol during such times? I ask and they seem not to give a damn. Maybe they were instrcuted not to touch foriegners like india and bangla nationals who normally are responsible for these type of things

it's time the police steps up enforcement on reckless and speeding cyclists on pedestrian paths as well, i was almost knocked down or near injured on many occasions

SPF is only interested to protect the pappies and their families.

Hardly see their cars go round patrolling . See them more often buying kopi.

SINGAPORE - A woman popped out for a karaoke session with her residents' committee on Monday, only to return home to the sight of her husband and grown son's bodies at the foot of her block.

The 66-year-old man and his 30-year-old son were found dead that afternoon, after apparently falling from Block 605, Clementi West Street 1.

The husband, identified by Shin Min Daily News as Mr Song Ya Cai, was on the ground while their son, Mr Song Shen Long, was on the roof of a covered walkway.

The older Mr Song's wheelchair was later discovered on the 17th floor. The family lives in a flat on the seventh floor.

Neighbours said they heard two loud thuds around 2.30pm, about 10 seconds apart. Several got out of their flats to take a look and discovered the bodies.

Mr Song's wife returned home around 4pm and immediately went into shock, wailing in distress, reported The New Paper.

At times, the woman's daughter, the youngest of her three children, believed to be in her 20s, had to restrain her mother, who took out her grief on a policewoman at the scene by hitting the latter.

Her other son, who is the oldest child, was seen comforting his mother.

A close friend of the wife for several years was distraught when interviewed. She said the wife had been depressed lately.

The friend added that the wife had problems with her husband for the last five years, and they quarrelled often.

She said the husband had dementia and had trouble with his mobility. He also could not control his bladder and bowel movements.

But relatives and friends also told Shin Min that the father and the son who died had a close relationship. When the elder Mr Song spent a few months at a care facility, his son often went to visit him and bought food for him as well.

Police have classified the case as unnatural death and are investigating.

It is not uncommon crime. In Malaysia it is not uncommon. In other countries other than SG it is not uncommon.

KUALA LUMPUR - A taxi driver and his wife were charged in two separate Sessions Courts here with 12 counts of robbing their passengers between August and October.

In judge Azman Mustapha's court, Sulinder Singh Bhajan Singh, 36, faced five counts of robbing beauty care centre manager Lee Lai Ching, 30, accounts assistant Azlina Katiman, 26, student Wan Nur Amira Mohd Nazri, 17, fresh graduate Guan Bee Go, 21, and student Nurul Huda Salihah Nordin, 17.

He allegedly took cash totalling RM380 (S$149), several mobile phones, jewellery, MyKad, school books, house keys and ATM cards from the five.

Sulinder allegedly committed the offences at Desa Petaling, Jalan Bangsar, Taman Tun Dr Ismail and in front of the bus stand next to the government complex in Jalan Duta between Oct 15 and 21 from 10.15am to 4.05pm.

In judge Azwarnida Affandi's court, Sulinder and his wife Harvinderjit Kaur Bachan Singh, 23, were jointly accused of robbing Nor Hazalinda Ismail, 24, Nor Hidayah Hashim, 25, Cherylene Ann Bruyns, 21, and Chong Hui Pin, 29, with a knife.

They robbed the four of their digital cameras, mobile phones, Thai baht and Singapore dollars and cash totalling RM4,440, jewellery, several ATM cards and credit cards.

Both allegedly committed the offences at Taman Salak Selatan, Taman Tasik Titiwangsa and at a taxi stand in Taman Connaught in Cheras from Aug 30 to Oct 19 between 8.20am and 2.30pm.

Sulinder was also charged with three counts of robbing Tee Siew Har, 32, Lim Chiew Mei, 30, and Fatin Nur Ainaa Nasir, 19, of cash totalling RM40, three mobile phones, a power bank and a handbag.
