Seriously, Steve Chia is better off in Pioneer SMC where is he have walked around since 2011.
NSP has been contesting in Macpherson SMC since 2006 and the CEC felt that they should not give it up. Therefore they would contest in both Macpherson and Pioneer too. As for who should contest where, it is up to them to decide but they have no shortage of people who are family with Macpherson.

"Let out" as in contested in 2011 but decided not to contest because do not want multi-corner fight.
NSP's leader is the President not the Secretary General. The President has not changed for a long time....only the Secretary General kept changing.
WP already has too many districts (27 other seats) and should focus on those districts. Besides, they have not been active in Macpherson and are steping into other people's area.

PAP MP Tin Pei Ling’s joy is short-lived. The National Solidarity Party today (August 23) will not be contesting in Macpherson SMC and even fielding Steve Chia in the coming General Election (GE). On his Facebook page, Steve Chia posted “The Trolls have won” and announced that he will contest in the coming GE.

Very unfortunate he is not contesting because he is a good opposition MP material. I think without Steve Chia, NSP is going to be super weak this election.

NSP was perfectly okay even before Nicole Seah joined, with Steve Chia being sent into parliament by CCK people.
Steve Chia got along very well with NSP people and therefore has been very loyal to NSP. In fact he was ex-Secretary General of NSP.

He was only NCMP. He didn't win CCK SMC.
Yes NCMP was already not bad considering the fact that only WP and SPP managed to send candidates into parliament after CST left SDP.
