You need to do that for maximum effect.
PM got headache so fast after elections.
What to do with tpl?
Somehow when I hear Nicole Seah speak, you can sense her sincerity, dedication, conviction and devotion to the people on the ground. Then there are those that open their mouth and you know that they are another Ris Low personality type disorder.
Work the ground harder, make yourself more seen and heard, bring in more prominent politicians to stand with you in the next election, you will definitely make it the next time. 6.5% is not an insurmountable odd, Aljunied GRC lost by that much in the 2006 elections.
I look forward to seeing you as my MP for Marine Parade GRC, you will have my utmost support come what may.
Never give up hope, for without hope there is no dream and hence no future for the people of Singapore.
Thank you for fighting for our RIGHTS.
Yes, Nicole, what you lack is experience and a more credible party members. I am sure after your rise in popularity, more credible members will join you.
Fight hard for the next election and win, and make Singapore a 3 parties system.
Actually I am rather surprised that the margin at Marine Parade is so slim...
I was thinking maybe in the region of the high 60+ percent cos GCT is still an ok guy. I guess the effect of TPL and Nicole Seah really drag it down by a lot for GCT...
Seriously, the WP should try and convencient Nicole Seah and a few others to join them... Pick the cream of the crop and at the same time, remove all these small side parties from the ground...
3 from SPP, a few from the NSP... Seriously, too many parties chope this constituencies, chope that constituencies, isn't a good thing...

if yes, it is given to the opp party.
PM said "mandate" again, but this time no strong

I think WP, NSP, SPP, SDA, SDP, RP all served their purpose. Rather than recruit from other Opposition parties, WP should try to entice more unknowns with good appeal like Chen Show Mao.
NSP will go through a change in tactics and trust them to field stronger candidates in future. They also need to go down to the ground to get in touch with the people.
Kudos to all parties to put up a fight in nearly all the seats.
GCT and co may have won, but he has come off looking like an idiot for the stuff he said about the opposition candidates.
SM Goh GRC get 50 plus percent of votes only?

"A win is a win."
GCT blames tin pei ling for his team's dismal election results.
Excerpts from straits times:
"On the lower margin in Saturday's polls, SM Goh conceded that Ms Tin, 27, was 'a factor' that might have dragged down the PAP's vote share.
'Rightly or wrongly, she has been given a negative image from the very start. But maybe because of her youth as well,' said SM Goh, even as he thinks she is able to reach out and engage the young."

knn, such a big margin.
That is double counting, it should be 6.65% difference.
50% should be the crossover line, because you have more than 50% you win, so I usually take 43.35% - 50.0%.
Say originally it is 43% for NSP and 57% for PAP.
The margin is 14%.
If say NSP gains 1% more of votes, it becomes NSP 44% and PAP 56%.
The gain in 1% translates to 12%, a difference of 2%.
Makes any sense to you?
The voters decision are mutually exclusive, mean they can either be NSP or PAP.
This is because an increase in 1% for NSP also means a decrease of 1% for PAP.
The PAP news media just wants to make the numbers look big because they know all the percentages will be marginal, bigger numbers look better.

and they got buried in it
Let's all obey PM Lee's order.
We should all work together and welcome more FTs to our shores, they "create" jobs for Singaporeans.
Let's make Singapore a better place to live with 2-3 million foreigners.
I think the majority of PAP propaganda media fail arithmetic.

But he's not going to sack her?

I actually feel, NSP should consider disbanding... Those old timers like Yip Yew Weng, Ken Sun, Steve Chia, Sebastian Teo, Christopher Neo who have all tried so many times and fail are still there... This party is full of those so called 'die hard old timers' that spoil the image of the opposition only... GMS may be their leader, but these guys still have strong influence within the NSP...
SPP, though they have 2, 3 good guys, will slowly die off without the Chiam effect... SDA shouldn't even exist or taken part at all in this election... They are like a joke party, just putting on their party shirt make you look stupid...
RP, they got a long way to go and it seems their leader isn't an easy one to get along with, and thats a problem... The only other party apart from the WP that has a future is the SDP in my opinion...
I feel all these other opposition parties existence only serve to discredit the main one... If without them, people will start to focus on one real deal... But with all these side shows going on, this ward is mine, this GRC is ours... It make live difficult for the main party to grow... Just watching the televise political broadcast of that Singh guy from SDA... I shake my head and laugh... He looks like he is trying to sell me those magic mop talk like a machine gun like that... lol.
People like ken sun, yip yew weng, chris neo.....their branding not good. I don't know what they look like, what they stand for etc. Just quit la. GMS also a clown. Likes to get into verbal fights on sammyboy, an adult mudslinging forum. Good thing WP dropped him.
The likes of Tony Tan, Hazel Poa and Nicole Seah should consider hopping over to WP now. WP will win big big come 2016. Because gut feel tells me that PAP is unrepentant. Vivian said his policies are correct but the implementation and communication could have been better.....haha wtf.
WKS and MBT both thanked the electorate for their "mandates". Haha 50 plus percent mandate my ass la. And what other ways you think the PAP has for growing the economy? More foreigners of course. To drift from that direction would mean a massive overhaul of the strategic planning. It's not going to happen within the party anytime soon.
So who are sporeans kidding? And to those who whined and whined about PAP but still voted them......you deserve scorn.......freaking scorn poured on you.
