I'm not too sure about what normal aunties and uncles will say if you talk about the opposition parties. Will they see eye to eye with what you relate to them ? Judging from my parents point of view, they don't seem to care about those ridiculous million dollars salaries or the nation's democracy. Why is this so ? ee-dee-or-tays (greek for idiots) ? These people like to read the mainstream news even when I tell them not do to do so. All brainwashed by the media ?

I think generally spore dont really like to express their feeling in the public.
Even though they love to support opposition, when they are alone in the public or in the hawker centers jam pack with people, he/she will not show their feeling. Instead he/she will try to withdrawn away from you.
That is how ts is feeling right now.

Many don't show their feelings in the public regarding politics.

Give support to the oppositon parties if you see them giving out their flyers.
Really no harm to read what they can offer to the resident.
PAP or police wont kill you if you take one.

I still had the card from WP when taking the train to work this morning.
Interestingly, WP card had contact number for one of the candidates, Watson Chong Cham Weng.
To quote the card "We love Singapore. This is our home. We share your joy and laughter, sorrow and pain."
I was reading the card on the train. Opposite me, there was a man who was reading the newsletter.
The train was too crowded for me to ask him if I can have the newsletter after he's done.
