K Shanmugam
SINGAPORE: Home Affairs and Law Minister, K Shanmugam, is a new face on the Central Executive Committee of the People’s Action Party.
Mr Shanmugam was among the 12 elected to the CEC at the PAP conference held at the University Cultural Centre on Sunday.
Among those re—elected to the CEC include Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong and Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew.
Others include deputy prime ministers Teo Chee Hean and Wong Kan Seng, and ministers Lim Boon Heng, Khaw Boon Wan, Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Yaacob Ibrahim and Lim Swee Say.
Mrs Lim Hwee Hua and Dr Vivian Balakrishnan were co—opted to the CEC.
