Teo Ser Luck welcomes election contest

SINGAPORE: Mr Teo Ser Luck, an MP for Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC, is confident the six-member team in the ward has done its best for residents.
Manpower Minister Gan Kim Yong, who visited Punggol South Division on Sunday morning, said the area has been managed well.
Punggol South Division is part of Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC.
Mr Teo said that he would not discount the possibility his division may be carved out as a single-member ward in the upcoming General Election but added that he has not received any information.
Mr Teo noted that in the last few months, the Singapore Democratic Alliance (SDA) has been visiting the area often.
He said: "I think this (contest from the opposition) is a healthy development and it is good for our residents here. At least they have a chance to vote and I think it's important that every politician fights for their own vote, fights to win an election and to be able to represent their constituency."- CNA/ir

It is better to be cautious than have so much confidence in the coming GE.
You never knows pples heart and mind.
You never knows pples happy or angry.
Solely by rely on stats will backfire you.
Look at sda, they very hardworking, trying hard to please the pple and win their heart.
