She has to, they are her ticket to winning a contest, should there be one. At least she makes the effort to find out the consensus of her area, unlike some other MPs.

Yes, I like Lily Neo alot.She's so down to earth type of lady.
She can sing, she can dance and she can even talk to the ground especially poor and old pple living at Bukit Ho Swee.
We need more of her to help the pple, feel for the pple and work with the pple.
If I still under jalan besar, I definately vote for Lily Neo.

Reading the Lianhe Zaobao article on Dr Lily Neo is indeed heartwarming. It seems there aren’t too many Members of Parliament like her. And that is a shame. In the article, Dr Neo when talking of the struggles some of the elderly in her constituency faced, said, “These things do not sound like they could take place in Singapore. Yet I have witnessed them with my own eyes.”
Who else in the mps really 'witnessed them with my own eyes'???

Jalan Besar will not be walkover.
I remembered when the opposition member (forgot his face and name) was going door to door. Told me, he gonna fight for the housing issue, why so expensive, this and that....
In the end, Jalan Besar won the Grc.
