Our Opposition Parties are too weak to mount a Challenge

Where can I see in this world, except in Singapore, that the incumbent can form a government and a majority comes polling day. why is this so? because the opposition did not context in every wards to challenge the incumbent, whats why!!!!!
I think its high time for the opposition parties to put up or shut up. its time they put up the deposit even if they were to lose to the incumbent. This is especially a good time, when the locals are getting fedup with the influx of FT and foreigners. this is no time to shirk your responsibility, opposition parties...you do your job and we will do our job.

Have to be realistic lah.
Not easy being opposition party member in Singapore.
Easier to be incumbent party MP who basically just needs to tow the party line.

when u got opposition like chiam see tong who hasnt found a successor even after 26 years......that's why. What has he said in parliament all these years that is worth a mention? If he did, where's the publicity from his website, blog or forum? Has he taken steps to engage the young besides those walkabouts around his ward?

once PAP notice that any Opps is strong , he will either be ban / jail / or kick out of singapore till they are about 80+
when they are able to come back into singapore , they are either too old or left 1/2 a leg out of the coffin already.

Simi lanjiao? PAP don't need to ban/jail/kick any opposition without pretext, is that alternative leaders are so stupid that they let PAP catch hold of their legal mistakes. -

Rooney, you can consider sponsor them in terms of money. It is not cheap to contest in the election.
The political environment in Singapore does not allow freedom for the alternate parties to be active to build up anything strong.
To add, we do not have many credible alternate parties. The one and only I trust now is Mr Chiam See Tong.

The ruling party, especially the father and son are ever ready to discredit the opps for eg, to sue them for money. Whether there is valid reasons for doing so is not so important as to please their ego. -
