Reform Party members have given the nod to the proposed collaboration between their party and the Singapore Democratic Alliance (SDA).
Speaking to reporters after a members' meeting yesterday, Reform Party chief Kenneth Jeyaretnam said the members had given in-principle approval to the move.
However, he declined to comment further, saying that the two sides were engaging in 'delicate negotiations'.

Unfortunately, the SDA rejects such proposal, because RP have requested certain conditions that is unacceptable to some of the SDA members, including certain positions are reserved for RP members and requesting Mr Chiam or whoever to join force to contest in certain GRC such as West Coast GRC. (But why West Coast, when the Ayer Rajah area are famous of high PAP supporter, typically can easily gain votes of 70 ~ 90%)
