I believed that after so many gatherings, the one that manage to get most concerned were the "Lehman Brothers" where the gathering kp their lehman brothers high notes 5 that went kaput. Otherwise, it's not my business.

Not sure if the Lehman's fiasco will have effect on the coming polls.
Wish to add on:
- the ruling party never stop to put the people who feed them down. Thinks they have every right to scold and condemn the people.
- ruling party is self serving, always put their interest first before anything, anyone
Casino is opening soon, it may be that tourism will increase for a while and boost economy and PAP will use that period of "boom" to stage the elections.
I am worried.
I think opposition should use casino issue to attack PAP.
Why PAP doesn't allow referendum on casino issue?
Why the disrespect for the people?
Why Singaporeans have no say whatsoever on any sort of public policy?
You call this "democracy"?
Taiwan's Penghu residents vote 'no' to casino
MAKUNG, Taiwan: Residents of Taiwan's Penghu group of islands on
Saturday voted against hosting a new casino, following the repeal of a
law banning such gambling facilities.
Of 73,651 eligible voters who took part in a referendum, 17,359
voted against a casino in the Taiwan Strait archipelago, against 13,397
votes in favour and 298 invalid votes, the Penghu county government
said.
Critics of gambling hailed the outcome to the disappointment of
those who had argued that casinos would help boost the local economy.
"We are very proud. This is a victory for all Penghu people," said Lin Chang-xing, head of the Casino Opposition Alliance.
"I was looking forward to seeing Taiwan's first casino in Penghu,
which would revive the sluggish local economy and improve everybody's
lives," said Hsueh Ming-ching, a 74-year-old barber.
The vote came after the ruling Kuomintang (KMT) party pushed
through a controversial bill in parliament in January to lift the
decades-long ban on casinos.
The bill allows offshore islands to build casinos only if these are approved by the islands' residents in a referendum.
Penghu, which was competing against other offshore islands for the
one or two casino licences the government planned to issue, would not
be able to hold another referendum for another three years, officials
said.
Casinos would likely attract half a million tourists to Penghu
annually, generating 100 billion Taiwan dollars (3.13 billion US) worth
of revenue in gambling and tourism, according to a government study.

Another topic:
-- It is not justifiable that they pay themselves so much of money, it is over the limit, absolutely unacceptable.
-- There is no quality of life under their leadership
There are lots of issues and mistakes that have not been answered.
I think immigrant issue should be central topic. Opposition should focus on this issue and launch all out assault against PAP in elections.
There is a propaganda segment on CNA tonight at 10.10 pm where PAP will try to sell their propaganda on immigrant issue.

PAP also covered up the real issues regarding billingual policy failure. Not to mention our favourite GIC Temasek billion losses.

I doubt they will ever answer them
This is part of their irresponsibility. Wow, irresponsibility can lead to success, new theory!

Its the Holland-Bukit Panjang GRC tat lost the money, not the Bukit Panjang SMC tat lost the money. But BP SMC kind of belong to Holland-Bukit Panjang GRC to begin with.
Petir Road in Bukit Panjang is separated into a SMC and a GRC. Blks 13x - 14x belong to GRC, Blks 20x-22x belongs to SMC.

With people like Eric How, a member of YPAP, how can people trust PAP to give its best to serve the nation?
Eric is just one of the many undesirable snobs in the party.

They are up there for too long, out of touch.

I don't believe they are out of touch. They are just simply not interested to know, if they know too much they know they may have to come out with more money, manpower and so on which I believe does not serve their selfish agenda.
To sum it up, they are in politics to serve themselves only. WE are just tools for them to make use of for money making, gaining power and so on.
