Will Aljunied GRC split up like Eunos GRC when the margin get too close for comfort?

If there is a risk that Aljunied GRC might fall into opposition hands, PAP might destroy Aljunied GRC.
Cheng San GRC was also destroyed by PAP.

I think PAP would rather destroy a GRC than let opposition take it over.
If there is a GRC that PAP doesn't feel confident in winning or there were strong opposition votes in previous elections, PAP will destroy that GRC so that opposition won't have a base of supporters.

I am banging hope that the same group of people from WP in the previous election will stand in for the next election.

You are right man. Correct me if I am wrong - seems Singapore is the only country in the world that only disclose the official date for election at a time very close to election. -

That is why I am hoping that WP will come back again to contest in Aljunied.But as we all know, some people can play dirty by making changes to the GRC before election.

LHL did say there will be more electoral changes like smaller GRC and more single ward constituency. Chances are Aljunied might be split up.

Hope Worker's Party can win Ajunied GRC for the first time. They narrowly lost last time. But I think they can make it this time round. Somemore, Ajunied GRC can also help Hougang SMC in management if Worker's Party takes over.

Yes, yes, i am keeping my fingers crossed this time. But be ready also that ruling party may make changes to Aljunied GRC to protect their interests like what Mr chew said above. -
