  He has made it clear that retirement is internationally practised, if not he will want to do away with retirement in Singapore.

  Yah and he also say that his(and other gahmen ministers for that matter) pay is pegged to that in the private sector...

   

  WTF then you mean that is the only way to woo politicians? Epic fail.

   

  Not to mention too, that if he was in the private sector, and in his age, almost all private companies would have sacked him long long... Dun even talk about the pay, he wouldn't be getting anything at his age.

  A nice way for the private sector to get rid of these is called giving them golden hand shake.

  He just claims whatever benefits him and gang.  If he wants his salary like the corporate world, he jolly well do what the corporate world is practising during financial crisis, that is to cut down on travelling to save costs.    

  He is a politician serving the public, as such he is in no position to compare his pay with the corporate world.
