SINGAPORE: A 24-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a woman at Toa Payoh.
In a news release on Thursday evening (Sep 3), police said they received a call at about 8.20am on Thursday “requesting for assistance at Block 146A Lorong 2 Toa Payoh”. Upon their arrival, the 23-year-old woman was found lying motionless at the scene.
She was pronounced dead by paramedics at about 8.50am, according to the news release.
Police said the suspect will be charged in court on Saturday for the offence of Murder under Section 302 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, which carries the death penalty.

So there was another case about an old man dying amidst his sleep on a bench also at Toa Payoh, the police iirc said it was a non-natural death yet I have yet heard of foul play. Any idea?
