Sexual preferences.

  Lesbian and Gay issues are a big "problem" in singapore. Although PM just given the okay for gay, but singaporeans are still very conservative about the issue.
  I mean debates about this is everywhere. Some even say that some gays are born gays. What's your say.
  
  i'd like to see some comments from people who are gay, and no, i'm not going to discriminate you, you are still a human who need love too.

  I'm once straight, had a couple of ons, but failed in many very serious relationships but where i'm so determined to woo some girls, i failed terribly and i discovered a majority of girls are too materialistic to start with. Then i became asexual because i don't like guys, but that doesn't mean i'm anti-gay, i mean they are still human, just that they got different sexual preference. Then a girl whom i used to "love" woo me, i became straight again. But broke up soon. Now i am straight and comfortable with non-straights.

  If that's ok with youl, you probably believe a homosexual union is capable of nurturing a family, a home and children? Eg: That they should be given equal matrimonial rights in Singapore.

  It is hard to ascertain whether or not gays are born that way. Gays realise that they are gays when they discover their sexuality, which is some time from the moment they are born.
  
  Therefore, it is possible that it's a mental condition. A mental condition that cannot be cured.
  
  One thing for sure though, we shouldn't discriminate against them. I know of people who are homophobic and believes gays will make advances towards them at every opportunity. That is not true in the sense that we don't make advances towards every guy/girl we see as well.

  no one is born gay, it is the environment that he is brought up in.
  
  character molding for a child is from 1-5 yr old, understanding abt his sexuality is from there onwards, the parental support and education is important for this period.

  if its a mental condition, why didnt it appear centuries ago and only start appearing recently ?
  i strongly believe its the society.
  many people discover their sexuality only when they reach their teenage years.

  love does have boundaries, believe it or not, even if you love a person until so damn hardcore, there are just some things you won't do or cannot do for the person you love.

  Well, the boundaries of same sex to be more specific. U love someone for who they are and not for their genders.
