wat to bring for potluck gathering?

mi going for a friend's pot luck gathering next sunday. can u all suggest what to bring? got some one bring sandwiches le, then another one bring baked potatoes.
what should i bring? hmm...

you can make desserts, example
almond logan. Mango Pudding, Ice-Jelly with fresh fruits.
snacks.
fried battered prawns. Sushi.
drinks.
you can buy some flavoured syrup to make a flavoured cola.

Try these canapes for starters. Buy frozen filo pastries, bake them til brown & top up with prawns or tuna. Garnish with dill.
Tuna with green apple mayo recipe:
- Drain away water in tuna completely.
- Mix tuna with mayo, french onions, green apples & dash of lemon.
- Top the pastries with tuna mayo & garnish with dill.
Prawns with avocado cream receipe
- Stir fry prawns with olive oil, garlic, black pepper & dash of salt.
- After cool down, drain away excess water from prawns.
- Stir in small chunks of cucumber, mashed avocado into salad cream.
- Top the pastries with cream, then prawns, garnish with dill.
Presentation
- Lay all the canapes on a big tray.
- Line the balance dill around the tray.

Fruit salad or Agar agar is always the easiest.
Simple is good.

I second that.Or a carton of beer with ice.
Or a basket of easy to eat fruits like apples, pears, oranges & dried fruits and nuts.
Or some wasabi peas. Prawn crackers with chilli sauce.
Frankly, you never mention the age group, the budget and your skills, so its easier to suggest you buy those stuffs.

basically, the budget is 5 dollars la but then i'm alright with any budget. then i need to buy one because i do not knoe how to cook though. the potluck is outdoor one then it's in open area.
is it easy to prepare fruit salad?

If u are not into cooking, just bring yourself with some fruits or titbits.

it is easy to prepare fruit salad, i prepared it before. it is nice and healthy. what I used were whip cream mixed with milk instead of the normal salad dressing. -
