Hey everyone...well, recently, I've been told by my cousin, whose a doctor by profession, that I need to seriously do something about my weight as a guy. Being overweight and stuff. I'm well...23 kg over my ideal weight. And my cousin was telling me that by the time i reach my late 30s and 40s...there's a high risk that I might get heart disease, high blood pressure or diabetes...and seriously...I'm kinda concerned myself. I used to have a mild cholestrol issue as well. And it seems to be coming back recently...
Well, right now...I've already started jogging every alternate day...but...still no results...I usually jog like Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun, Tues, Thurs, Sat, and so on. I jog at my nearby neighbourhood park..
Food wise...anybody got any suggestions where to start? Cutting down white rice to taking only brown rice...yucks...but according to my cousin, it will help a great deal...and also minus all the sauces, sweet drinks...chocolates...etc...
What's your take?
Anyone that have successfully managed to lose weight before? I'm not interested to starve myself to slim down...I like to have real practical solutions that I can use to change my lifestyle and food intake...

exercise regularly - I'll increase my jogging to everyday by March 2009, that's my goal.

for example usually u run 1 hour, next time try 1.5hour so on ?
