academics vs real life

  can a person be good academically but still stupid? If yes any examples like u have any friends or school mates r like this?

  i got one fren who is very good in his studies so much so that he excels in watever subject he takes. But when it comes to life, he suxs...

  I had a classmate this year, he sucks in acedemic studies, and in those other things like street smarts, being independant and things like that, he also sucks.

  being academically well is not everything. however i think for life wise, i guess some people have to learn it the hard way. but TS, in wat way in life does he suxs then? because humans are not perfect

  i got a friend that is girl. very young very pretty..

  but surprising she is damn clever

  clever till the state to that she feel that we are not suitable to be her friends..

  and find that teachers teaching are too slow..

  she have no friends at all..

   

  i wonder what kind of parents she have.. my business management teacher say her parents have created a monster

  for example he always have to depend on others to make the first move. For example if u were looking for a business partner, u probably wont want to look for him cos he isnt proactive enough. He wants others to look for solutions for him. And as for a fren, when u r down, you prolly wont want to find him to chat cos he sux at lending a ear. The only good thing about him is that he is a loyal fren.

  i think is because she thinks that ppl ard her is very stupid ba. mostly smart ppl have a tendency to be anti -social ba. she should go to a gifted school where she can find more frens there ba

  at least that is sumthing gd abt him. he is loyal wat. so u are looking for a fren or for a business partner?

  yes, you could be book smart, but street stupid. can survive on grades but can't survive the real world. for example i have a fren in army who is very smart, straight distinctions student. But when it comes to people skills and surviving in army, he can't make it.
