      I'm new to this forum and wishes to enlist your help.

       

      My name is Amber and I am one of the Co-Chairpersons of Bike Rally 2015. Bike Rally is a non-competitive long distance cycling event - one of the three national events organised by Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Sports Club annually. The 11th Organising Committee would like to extend an invitation to you to support us as Safety Cyclists for our event. Bike Rally 2015 will be held on 8th March, Sunday.
      
      Unlike previous years, Bike Rally 2015 will consist of 2 separate route categories - 88km and 168km. You may indicate your preference of route category along with your personal information in the registration form attached to this link provided. As there are limited slots for each route category, we seek your understanding should you be reallocated. Do take note that registration will close on 20th January 2015 (Tuesday).
      
      

      This year, our committee aims to reach out more to the general public to take up the sport of cycling with the introduction of the 88km route. As such, we will be expecting more amateur cyclists and would deeply appreciate more volunteers to take up the role of Safety Cyclists for the 88km route category.

      
      

      One of Bike Rally’s main objectives is to promote safe cycling and as always, the role of a Safety Cyclist is vital to our event. The entitlement for Safety Cyclists in appreciation of your generous help and support will be as follows:

       

      • Safety Crew Singlet (to be worn on event day for easier identification)
        
      • Goodie Bag
        
      • Buns, bananas and energy drinks

      As much as we would like to, lunch will not be provided on the day of the event. We apologise for the inconvenience and humbly thank you for your participation as a volunteer.
      

       

      
      

      Do note that there will be a dry run held tentatively on 25th Jan 2015 (Sunday) and it is compulsory for all Safety Cyclists to attend. Lunch will be provided. More details will be announced closer to the date.
