Initial D Collection - the Art of Drifting

  any initial d fans here? as for me, i cant consider myself as a real initial d fan coz im not interested in reading mangas... but after watching the real life movie starring Jay Chou, i had a craze for the cars... of coz, toufu car AE86 is the eye catcher... not to forget FC, FD, R32 and Evos... then oso start watching the animes... then more cars i love... Levin, the Type Rs, S13 etc... the creator juz rocks!
  
  of coz not to be missed... the diecasts... only manage 3 in my collection due to limited market capability here... first up, the Mazda Savanna RX-7 FC3S of Ryosuke Takahashi from RedSuns...
  
  
  
  this is a 1/24 scale model produced from Jada Toys... the quality is less satisfied as it doesnt look much realistic but a toy car instead, especially the engine bay... heard Hot Works will be releasing this model soon, by then the model will be much realistic and better quality... oso Hot Works models are juz like model kit as u can change all the parts..

  i got this model too when it was just release in USA.
  
  imported in..
  
  but was disapointed with its details..
  
  had sold it away after that.
  
  i got this model in 1/43 scale.. its much more detailed.

  thanks! but so far there are no proper 1/18 scale of this FC model ah? hmm... no sound from aa and kyosho... i only manage to see Hotworks will be releasing this Initial D version of FC in future (but dono when), juz saw from the their poster... the scale will be 1/24 de, to match their FD and AE86 line i guess...

  there isn't any 1/18 scale of the FC3S as yet.
  
  i did email to autoart abt it before.
  
  but they said they will most likely not be producing it.
  
  the only scale of good details u can find is in 1/43 scale.

  true true... at least they bother to reply.... that sets companies with good customer service apart. i wonder how come they arent asking customers for feedback about what to produce etc. Especially when they came out with flops like the PT, panoz etc... wouldnt they make more $$ if they produced what customers want?

  Depends lor... They took over a month to reply my enquiry about their LM Ford GT the other time... I even forgot I asked them until I got their reply!

  hahaha... nice spot! actually the original plate was Initial D logo, so i decided to put a Japanese plate to replace tat, but dono wat number... then use wikipedia web to print out this plate lor...

  the Takahashi brothers collection continues with this Mazda RX-7 FD3S of Keisuke Takahashi from RedSuns... produced by Hotworks, the finest quality of 1/24 scale which u can change the parts from stock to Initial D version... i didnt change the wheels coz i prefer this one rather than the bronze colored one... bumpers, spoiler, skirts, engine, seats, disc brake etc all are changable... oso, real Initial D Jap plate number is provided! downside - side doors cant open...

  i don have it but the model is nice... especially in black after modification, juz like a mafia machine... keng ah! im sure the quality wont disappoint u... as for me, its much better if its 1/18 scale... but 1/24 is ok too since they make precision models...

  Hanagata: in singapore i dono le... but in malaysia here, theres a shop named speed nikko in tun jugah and pelangi located in hock lee...
