the forgotten forum that we abandoned....

hey guys,
i remembered we had our own diecast forum sometime ago.
but it was forgotten and left to rot...
i feel posting a forum like there is better than sgforums, even though we are so used to sgforums.
becos at there, the whole forum is ours, and posts are posted to respective threads.
makes us all easier to look for what people posted before or collection showcase, we could each just have a thread of our own at the showcase area or something.. then we just updated our own thread each time.. dun needed create a new thread like wad we do here..
wad do u guys think?
wanna shift our attention back tot the forum?
so that all the posts will not be scattered all around?
and will be more organised?

I feel that sgforums should be enough for our needs, as we are still a small group after all.
That forum may be organised, but those forums are meant for huge group, like thousands of people, it just wont work with a small group. Also, newbies can find us here easier. -
yup. i agree on the part that its easier for new ppl to find us here at sgforums.
but i hav a sugguestion, why not we continue to use the sgforums and also the other diecast forum?
like we continue like wad we do here,
but we also post our collection photos there?
it will be sort of like a database for our own ppl to view all the models we all have?
its much easier than flipping and flipping thru pages at one thread in sgforums to look for something or someone's collection.
like the " List Out All your Collections...... " thread we have here and also each different photoshoots could be posted there.. more organise and nicer.
thread like photos of "SGDC First Anniversary Outdoor Photoshoot" and also "EVOs gathering" could be posted there.. would be nice -

I kind of like the idea of the older site being the forum.
Maybe because we will be by ourselves, not under sgForums. Also, as I have just seen, the forum's very own banner is there, unlike here, where the standard sgForums banner is our banner (and I suppose it can't be changed). There are separate forums for related threads to be posted into, which makes it much easiar to find, organise and read threads.
Sure it doesn't have as many members as sgdc.sgforums.com, but I'm sure if the mods make an announcement about this, more members are sure to join there. We can keep the systems same, i.e. let the mods here be mods there.
or..
maybe start a newer version with www.invisionfree.com, cause it's free and just as organised as the one at http://sgmodelcars.17.forumer.com/index.php.
That is just what I think. The decision still goes to the mods.
