Apparently, 7.0.1 will cause you to see the "double transfer fee bug" if you're playing with a cracked version.
But I'm not very clear on that and other related problems. So dun ask me.
I only installed the patches after I bought the game. -
I've tried updating before with the first patch. But the fm.exe file was replaced by a new one(I think) and the so-called "original" fm.exe that was present in the image file initially cannot be used. The "crack" fm.exe file still treated the game as pre-patch status. That was my experience.Originally posted by alwaysdisturbed:you try and let us know.

The thing about the different patches is that whenever you start a new game, you can chose to either have the 7.0.1 or 7.0.2 patches. So for completeness, download all the patches and install them in order, which is what I did.Originally posted by ErikaChioBu:so can i skip?? -
after downloading the 7.02 patch, the genie scout seems less accurate, in genie scout, it says that Barthez is available at 5.5m pounds, but when i offered 6m pounds in game, it was rejected, why?

Are you sure the 5.5m is the sale value? Otherwise I'm not sure. The patch itself shall tell you the version. Also, the game status will also tell you which version the game is running on, 7.0.1.xxxxx or 7.0.2.xxxxx where xxxxx is some number.Originally posted by funniegal:how to know whether ur patch is 7.0.2 or 1 -

If you dun need the original CD to be in the CD drive to play, then definitely not original.
