oh yea...another i found out was chelsea no matter wat will always buy adraino and cambiasso...then their team super strong man...sianz....
And yes, Chelsea always get those two players. In my game, they have Adriano, Ibrahimovic and of course Shevchenko (but offloaded Drogba to Villareal). Luckily for me, both Adriano and Shev was injured throughout most of the season! And they finish in 6th position!
Anyway, whenever I'm playing against Chelsea, be it Home or Away, I always have an Ultra-Defensive mentality with slow-pace & direct-passing at first half. Then by 2nd Half, be it if i'm leading, trailing or draw, I'd increase the pace and change to short-passes with Counterattack on. This way, the playes' fitness are at optimum level and stays strong throughout the game.

Allright, for those who are not sure about the "show onto foot" during the pre-match talks, it simply means forcing the opposition to use his weaker foot. SO for example, you have a opposition WInger who prefers to use his Right foot and his stronger foot is his right; so set him 'onto left foot' and your defenders will try to force him to use his left foot more often.
And well, it doesn't matter how strong the team is; as long as you have a good tactic and counter-tactic, then I believe any team can beat any other team.

i just started playing....i control man utd.....v strange, chelsea lost the 1st 2 games n din perform tat well against top teams, apart from always end up hammering liverpool (is it being fixed already?)...12 games played, chelsea in UEFA spot.....n they have lotsa long term injuries to top class players....

Chelsea beat me 4 times in the 1st season....
Torres drogba and shev = unstoppable...They brushed everyone aside....
eague and cl double...i guess i will adopt a "1 pt is enough" tactic next time i see them... -
just finished my 1st season.....chelsea indeed fought back to finished 2nd (of cos my Man Utd finished 1st)...n they meet me in CL final....the result??..i beat them 3-1..but i got 2 players sent off!!...After the match, Jose was furious that his team cant beat a 9 men team..

U can always get some free players whose contracts are expiring or unprotected, provided they are interested in your clubs.
1) Select a player that you are interested to sign him for free in the next season. (Note: His contract must be expired in the next season)
2) Buy with him with a "confirmed" price that the club will accept, be it 50 pounds or more.
3) When the expiry date of his contract is drawing near (End of Feb or Mar), cancel the transfer and offer him a new contract to sign him for free. -

Currently, Arsenal still a top team. Chelsea now always chasing top 4 until end of season. Man U mid-table team.
My closest rival is Newcastle, headed by......David Moyes! -
In my thrid Season, Marcelo Lippi is the current head honcho for Newcastle!
Bt being nice of me, I send him a positive saying he is one manager with lots of experience and that the club should be happy with him as Manager prior to the match. Then promptly scored 3 goals against his side.

i just finised my 1st season, yet to start the 2nd season...Paul Jewel from Wigan got sacked mid season (forget replace by who). Bolton big Sam got the boot end of season (forget replaced by who). West Ham Padrew got the sack also, think replaced by M. Lippi...Glen Roder actually got 'sacked' but i did some error, reboot the game n saved him for another season.
