I love playing FM aloot! Just gotten the latest game and just completed my first season with Man Utd.

I just downloaded and just got past the pre season....i went english and bought Luke Young 3.9m and Lee Cattermole 3.4m. I sold Zenden for 3.2m. Not much money leh haha

Go to player search, customize the list to what type of players you want, then click "inf". Look for the players with "Wnt" beside their name, meaning some team want them.
If teams like the top 4 in EPL or top European teams want them, those are the players you want. -
The more you send out your scouts, the more knowledge they will gain from that particular Region/Nation that they been to and thus the more players will come when you do a 'Player Search' of the country.
Another thing, there's a few glitches here and there, since hte game's being released earlier then planned; things like a gk bringing the ball to the edge of penalty box before bringing back to his goalkick-line to make a goalkick. You can see that EVERYTIME the keeper gets hold of the ball; go ahead and see for yourself.
There's also glithces like players being sold too cheaply/expensively to rival clubs , there's also the glitch regarding the Germany National Team. All in all, my advice is to look out for SI's latest updates and patches.
Oh yes one more thing, the Eng Prem Lge teams are all 'logoless'; which means, you cannot see the actual logos or jersey colours. But the rest of the major leagues like Spanish, Italian etc etc, all the logos and jersey colours are exact replicas of the team.
I must also urge those playing to read the Hints & Tips as they do provide essential information regarding gameplay. So do take time and read the Tips carefully. (ps. once installed, you can always read the actual Notepad file on Hints & Tips which can be accessed from the directory of the game in your computer)
Last but not least (for now), do enjoy the game as it has truely blossomed from the olden days of CM. And to those of you who intend to get CM 07, may I urge you not to do so as there has been lots of bad reviews about it and well, FM rocks anyway!

i have the problem sometimes after the team talk, i click play match it goes back to the team talk menu again....

I believe you should restart pkaying FM07! Its more updated and much more fun as compared to FM06 due to the cool additional functions!
And about the clicking 'play' and going back to the team-talk, I'm not sure about that; but perhaps you would want to reinstall the game? Shall get back to you on that one.
And about the Opposition instructions (before & at half-time), its mainly to instruct your players to do specific tasks. Click an opposition player, then change the 'Marking' and 'Closing Down', to 'Always'; then you will notice for that particular opposition player, he'll be closely marked and challenged unforgivingly whenever he has the ball. That's just some things that I found out.
And yup, FM07 is hard, but at least it has more 'realism' and 'control' as compared to the previous versions! -

Well, you can never have two teams of similar standards at any one point in time. Performance depends on form, morale, fitness, tactical-technical abilities, mentality etc etc.. oh yea...another i found out was chelsea no matter wat will always buy adraino and cambiasso...then their team super strong man...sianz.... -
