Just post whatever you think is weird in Maths and doesn't make sense to you.
1)Something that is not open may not be closed.
2)Something that is not closed may not be open.
3)1 + 1 can be equal to 0, if you put in 1 + 1 == 0 (mod 2)
4)ab = 0 but a and b may not be 0.
5)Who thought of having "0" as a number?
6)Why is "pi" like that (so many decimal places)?
7)exp(i*pi) = 1

Hence, you get something like a = b = 2 not equal to 0 but a*b = 0.
It's under modular arithmetic. Funny how they thought of such things.
7)exp(i*pi) = 1
exp means the e ~ 2.71......, that is, the ln base e thingy.
i is the complex term, where i^2 = - 1
pi is the pi from the circle, that is, pi*r^2 = Area of circle
Three terms that doesn't seem to have anything to do with each other.
Yet it's proven that e^(i*pi) = 1 by this "great" guy called Leonhard Euler.

So when you expand
e^iz = 1 + iz +(iz)^2/2! +(iz)^3/3! +(iz)^4/4!+ ...
=1 + iz -z^2/2 - iz^3/3! + z^4/4! + ...
=(1-z^2/2! + ...) + i (z- z^3/3! + ...)
=cos z + i sin z
so e^i*pi = cos pi + i sin pi = -1 + i*0 = -1. -
