it's too much work to make though. so i'm just going to skip it. haha.

I finished a bit of it but gave the rest away before I came back ....
it tasted rather nice actually .... very "herby" ... slightly sweet, I think cos of the box fruit I put in ......
and builds up a good "inner fire" ....
i don't like 'herb-y' stuff >.<
though there is a certain type of chicken that is cooked in a lot of chinese herbs that i'll eat. but other than that....i don't drink herb-y stuff >.< haha
My favourite recipe for winters, cold nights. A pot of piping hot soup with garlic or crusty bread to dip in! Yum!
Minestrone Soup
Recipe serves 2 - 3 generously.
*Note: You can also use McCormicks' Italian herbs found at most Supermarkets in place of the herbs above. Use 1 tbsp.
Very yummy.
Esp sitting outside the front porch or balcony with a bowl of soup during those chilly nights. PHWOAR!
the best cure for a cold winter is......tom yum soup!!!! & of course, vodka or any other hard liquor!!!!
sweet =D
that's a good soup recipe. simple. and i can easily get the ingredients!! =D
plus...NO MEAT!! hehe. yayness =D
thanks!
i'm so going to try that recipe some time soon!
I like herbal mutton soup ><

meat's so much more expensive than veggies T.T
like...i can get a pound of turnips for 50 cents. but meat...will cost almost $3 per pound...zzzzzzzzz....
and!! sweet potatoes are $1/pound!!! =D =D =D on special this week. im getting LOTS. heehee. YAY!!~ then cooking then all. then putting them in the fridge. then re-frying/microwaving whenever i feel like having it =D
are you living by yourself now ? .....
it's important to eat meat, especially in pluto, for the "inner fire" .....
errr...my mom is no longer here. if that's what u mean by 'myself'. haha
no need to eat meat lah -.-
i know so many vegans here. tsk.
i'm going to make veggie and bean stews. lots of it. they freeze well too!!
haha. on lazy days, just throw into the pot and let it boil.
all i need is a non-lazy day where i'll bother to make the food >.<
but i will still buy ground beef to fry up my own medium-rare burgers!!
Hehe,
veggies are cheap.
Meat's good too, but I've never heard of a meaty minestrone.
A coupla' days ago Coles was selling corn on discount $2 for 5. I got 10, for $4! Yay! Going to fire up the barbie and make some roasted corn, some grilled veggies, maybe a grilled chicken or two for the friends who pop by.
Maybe make some yummy chinese Corn soup with those swirls of egg. For the vegans out there the egg comes from the vegan egg powder you get at health food shops. For the meat eaters, just a normal egg will do.
