What kind of problems? What kind of Jetta do you have? This is our second one. We loved the first one we had which explains the repeat purchase.Originally posted by ben1406:ahaha ! it's nice ok but starting to give problems slowly..
it's a 2000 2.0 gli. i just had to change some converter 2 months back that cost me $350 and i had to change some motor for the air con.Originally posted by jetta:What kind of problems? come. we have lovely green fields, rolling hills and valleys, mysterious ancient celtic sites and awe inspiring roman ruins. Its just something to behold, an olde world charm that USA would never have.Originally posted by littlestream:Hey, not fair. I also wanna go!!!
Nice pic Heng@
What would you like your next car to be? I love the Corolla and had planned to get it but I got an Outback instead.Originally posted by ben1406:it's a 2000 2.0 gli. i just had to change some converter 2 months back that cost me $350 and i had to change some motor for the air con.
it is a good car overall but well, i guess it's getting too old. if i land a job here i'll prob have a car change.
don't laugh at my options.. Mazda 3, Pontiac g6 pursuit, 2004 VW Golf or another jetta but a 2003 model.Originally posted by jetta:What would you like your next car to be? I love the Corolla and had planned to get it but I got an Outback instead.
I where got dare to laugh at you?Originally posted by ben1406:don't laugh at my options.. Mazda 3, Pontiac g6 pursuit, 2004 VW Golf or another jetta but a 2003 model.
The Mazda 3 with the 2.3 liter engine would be my choice. I test-drove one last year and was suitably impressed by its sports car-like ride and handling, fit-and-finish, and ergonomics.Originally posted by ben1406:don't laugh at my options.. Thought you will laugh because i had that pontiac G6 option..Originally posted by jetta:I where got dare to laugh at you?
Lots of choices. Which one are you partial to? I like the Golf too but it's too small for us. We just love VWs. We had a 2001 Wolfsburg but had to sell when we left Hawaii. I was sooooooo sad. I really loved that car. We have a 2004 Jetta wagon now. It's got an interesting history.

It's a little on the expensive side (pushing US$20,000 for top-of-the-line "S" version), but it's one of an increasingly rare breed of Japanese-namplate economy vehicles sold in the US that are actually MADE IN JAPAN. The 3 has also been on Consumer Reports' "Highly Recommended" list every year since its introduction.
Just my two cents.
Corolla. 41mpgs.Originally posted by ben1406:i really do like the Mazda 3 2.3l alot but it's a lil steeped. even if i get a job i doubt i'll be able to afford that... trying to find a gd 2nd option for that.
Laughing now.Originally posted by ben1406:Thought you will laugh because i had that pontiac G6 option..
Ya, but the Corolla's 1.8 liter engine is rather anemic...Originally posted by jetta:Corolla. 41mpgs.

I didn't detect that in the one I had. Still love this little car.Originally posted by Meia Gisborn:Ya, but the Corolla's 1.8 liter engine is rather anemic...
Tried. Either it's so small or it's so big the whole picture cannot fit.Originally posted by littlestream:Wah, so small leh. I need magnifying glass leh. Can make bigger so that at least when I say "good shot" I can mean it?
