$2.69/gal. around my neighbourhood this morning.
But I can guarantee you that prices will be back up above $3.00/gal. by this Labor Day long weekend, as the oil companies go back to doing what they do best: price gouge.

$2.66/gal. around here today. It's the calm before the storm--I can feel it in my bones. I'm expecting to go to work sometime later this week and see the price jump above $3/gal. during the day. After all, the Labor Day long weekend is one of the busiest travel times of the year in this country.

in SG.... for 92.. lowest grade there.. not sure liao.. -

Political stability also helps.
The costs of gas is in the refining and last mile delivery to the consumers.
Because Singapore is the refining center, it doesnot cost much to get the runoff for immediate consumption (and profits for the oil companies). Thus, relatively, Singaporeans benefit

yesterday, it was 101.8.
petrol is bloody expensive here

The Labor Day weekend is upon us, and gas prices around here have actually dipped a few cents from yesterday.

$3.01/gal was the average in Idaho today...$2.89/gal for regular today in the town where I live.

a friend of mine's actually a native chap (funny, I've always thought he was white) ...
so all I have to do, is to get him to drive my car to top up on gas, he flashes his Indian Treaty Card, and I get a huge discount ! ... -
