newbie question on drinks

  Hi guys and gals,

  i quite rarely go pubbing or clubbing, so my question is this:

  when they refer to a "standard drink", i roughly know that is a drink with a certain amount of alchohol in it

  but when a place gives [free standard drinks], what can i get? give some examples?

  eg can you share what are your favourite drinks, also? and why. (shots, shooters; cocktails; whatever; if beer, what brand)

  standard drink usually refers to beer or one out of these 6 or 7 types of alcohol like tequila, bourbon whiskey, rum, vodka, gin, brandy mixed with soft drink / plain water / green tea as ur mixer and for tequila pop is without mixer. ur standard drink can even be non-alcoholic drinks if u do not take alcohol.

  i just like tequila from the standard selection. i like tequila taste, i dislike vodka taste.

  tequila pop is with sprite as the only mixer

  vodka no taste one.. only small of alcohol....

  vodka is the one where you drink liao and �便 stinks one
