What kind of pubs? And what kind of music? Presently I like New Asia, I find Embargo way too loud, looking to try Bar None and Balaclava one of these days...anyone interested in Bar-hopping?

play lotsa wkrz 91.3 kidna music there
but give me seb fontaine, paul van dyke or dave seaman anytime! -

For House - Centro,China Black and Zouk
For Techno - Music Underground, Devil's Bar and Sparks(Loadsa Kids and Bengs...)
For Trance - Heard that Liquid Room plays good Trance..
Live Bands - Bar None and China Jump
BTW, MS and BQ are quite OK, but the dance floor and place is too small to really enjoy....

BTW, MS and BQ are quite OK, but the dance floor and place is too small to really enjoy.... Er real techno is not those stuff banging from the speakers outta Sparks and such. These are what they called Euro-Cheese Trance. Proper Techno has minimal vocals and a much deeper/constant beats. Just FYI lah cos there's too much misconception abt the so called Techno here. Chill. -
I prefer zouk on Saturday. I think it's playing house musics, and the atmosphere is good with green lasers.. And i used to go to Club Vii for technos..

sounds like most of these are clubs, and not pubs...
for a proper pub, i kinda like Muddy Murphy's... i'm partial to Kilkenny Lager, Guiness Draught and their very nice ale, Old Speckled Hen -
i think i really outdated manz, although i'm going to be a young adult, i only went clubbing twice.
the last time i went was lush and it was quite bad..for me la.. very smoky inside moreover ppl puffed, thus added more smoke... soOoOoOo smoky... cannot tahan sia.

haha..i prefer molly malone at bq. tat's an irish pub which hav good guiness draft,kilkenny, strongbow. they do hav sm live band. but normally is those irish song(altot i dun realli like)..but the atmos ther is good if u onli look for a place tat can hav good drink and chit chat with fren.
i'm a regular there. yap. dun forget call for a fish and chips if u r hungry. i love the fish and chips there!! -

in fact a lot of clubs or pubs were good when they just started.....
the last time wong san, then ta jie, lush......all were good when they just started......
now where do u all club??
i still prefer zouk on fri......somehow i find a lot of places cannot make ot on sat......see the crowd i sian liao -

there's a few pubs at boat quay tat plays a lot of hip hop, R&B etc...but i dunno the names.....
