  For me......the crowd and the atmosphere are important.....and of coz free drinks....
  
  Previously hang out at Samsara.....coz my fren got endless supply of liquor there....plus his mixer is all free......!!!

  smokeless atmosphere... not so noisy and of coz cheap+non-diluted drinks....
  u noe some bartenders... dilute ur drinks so much... tat they taste... ughh!!

  If u ask me, its gotta be at least 3 important things that make your trip worthwhile to such places....
  * UNDILUTED DRINKS,
  * GOOD FLOW OF MUSIC,
  * THE CROWD, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY,
  * FRENZ U HANG OUT WITH....
  everything else is bullshit!!!
