How many here have placed their orders already?
Is it the Euro spec 1.5 turbo 180hp/250nm or the 174hp/220nm version?120k over is damm expensive Thanks to Grabcar/Uber which renew their fleets currently..Maybe wait for COE to reach $38-40k then i might consider.
Still overpriced. Might as well get vezel hybird.

Problem is when COE is going to go downwards to $38-40k?
It's not the 1.5 turbo version. It's the 1.6 NA detuned version to CAT A category.
The link I provided has the specs of the car.

I hope they don't sell it at the list price since they detuned the car to CAT A category to increase sales. The previous generation of the Civic is a far cry of high sales figures, compared to the 8th generation Civic.
If Honda wants to boost sales after detuning the new Civic, they better price it competitively with the Mazda 3 and Toyota Corolla.
very practical

As in?
You have seen the car?
Honda always sets the pricing mark to be at a premium. So is the Civic and the Civic Hatch launching at the same time?

No. The 1.6 litres version will come out first, followed by the 1.5 litres turbo version. The Civic hatch may come in earliest in 2017. The coupe looks great too but I doubt it will come as currently it is for the US market.
FYI, the Civic 1.6 is having a promotion now, selling at SGD108,999. The 1.5 turbo is asking for about SGD 122k.
over priced
wat is not overpriced in SG?
Honda always sell their cars at a higher premium, but their cars are usually better in terms of quality and relaibility, and not to mention higher resale values.
Sorry to hijack the thread as I can't create a thread yet.
Can I check with gurus here on my situation.
Bedded successful in may this year, my car stock not available till July this month. Agreed with dealer before hand, to collect only in sep, before my current car expire.
