FOS met TrailBlazers in a clash this 22/3/05 evening, and each of our members had varying degrees of success with their respective opponents.
Gotta say one thing about the TrailBlazers. The 3 bowlers they had tonight were eeriely consistent, their lowest game in 12 games was 164, ensuring that our dudes and dudette had to be on their game to get theirpoints.
When the dust has cleared, FOS unfortunately was beaten by the score of 9-11. This is how each of our warriors did.
WX managed 1 point, scoring a high of 171 and a low of 137, avg 150. Not one of his better days, but we're always behind you, bro!
Our Silent Assassin Michelle manhandled her hapless opponent 5-0, and was very consistent with a low game of 180, high game 201, avg 187. Great performance, sister, welcome to anchorhood. Your opponent didn't bowl badly, but unfortunately for him ran into a steamroller tonight.
Resident Bowling Cow Kevin went behind early, but came back to win 2 points on the last 2 games. Low game 148, and a great 222 high game for an average of 179. Nicely done, bro. Great recovery.
Unfortunately, we only managed to get 1 point from team games, hence the total of 9.
Up next are the deadly Elite E-Bowlers, we will have our hands full for that one. Till next time, FOSers! -
next wk, 29 march 2005, against *simple (not elite ebowlers), we shall have the 2 in-form couple, mich and kevin, teaming up with Melvin for the lineup.

10th placed FOS (87 pts) takes on 7th placed Simple (94.5 pts).
We are separated by 9th placed Elite E-Bowlers (90.5 pts) and 8th placed NUSS (91.5 pts). 11th placed Spook Angels (84.5) are behind us by just 2.5 pts.

A late pullout by Michelle means Captain Jae took the field alongside Kev and Melvin for a Male Awesome Threesome!
The great news was that we finished with an excellent 14-6 scoreline against the higher ranked team. However, our guys were disappointed because they felt we could have scored even more against them. But all being said and done, 14 pts is an excellent scoreline and we have good reason to be proud of our boys!
Melvin did the Jekyll and Hyde impression by scoring 137 in his 2nd game, before BAMBOOZLING his opponent with a 251 KABOOSHKA 3rd game! Mr Goh snared 4 pts with an overall avg of 188 vs his opponent's 152 avg.
Captain Jae managed a consistent performance throughout, scoring an avg of 174 to score 3 pts vs his rather animated opponent, who avg-ed 164.
Resident Bowling Cow (RBC) had the toughest test of all, as he faced the always consistent Roger Tan. RBC scored a respectable 179 avg against Roger's 185 avg, scoring 2 pts in the process.
In perhaps a first for Team FOS, we managed to win all 4 team games and overall for a perfect 5/5 in that department! STEAM~ BOH~ STEAM BOH~~
With this result we have leapfrogged Simple by the most smallest of margins, by just 0.5 pts!!!!! WOOOOOoooo....

we started off on a good note.. strikes and spares.. our opponent, INFINITY, consisted of Keith Tang 181 209 191 180, Roger Tua 191 200 179 189 and David Lim 198 168 174 168.
mich, thanks to the 13 pins handicap, manage to take 2 games and win the total pin fall with a mere margin of 4 pins! muaheeheehee.. at first was on form one.. then don't know becoz of who, then mentally gone. so, took back 3 points.
Jae perform well too.. he put his BIG NAME on lanes 17-18.. with his 245 highgame. (previously was 244) CONGRATS! will try to take his name down. haha.. then, mich lost her game, jae also kena affected. haha.. then he also bowled 2 160++ games.. sama sama! JAE.. LOUSY la u!! jae also take home 3 points.
Melvin.. wasn't on form.. 1st few games can't get his ball into pocket.. maybe the thumbnail injury not totally recovered yet.. but luckily, he managed to pick up his last game, and took home 1 point.
total team we got 533 616 519 552 2220 (inc hdc). team won 2 points coz we lost the overall total pin falls by 8 pins!!!!!!!!!!
therefore, we lost 9 - 11. wasted!!! almost can draw 10-10.. hmm.. the match with eliteEbowlers also like dat hor..
